NexxSteps coordinates and sustains the services that keep people and communities thriving — safe housing, transportation, healthcare and treatment, vocational training, and family support — so that good-actor providers can deliver care without being buried by administrative burden, and so that every individual, whether coming home from incarceration, leaving homelessness, or stabilizing after a mental-health crisis, has a real path to rebuild their life and restore their purpose.
NexxSteps LLC is the coordinating organization and financial backbone. NexxSteps RS (NexxSteps Reentry Services) delivers reentry support and operates the provider portal for room reservations at our Phoenix facility. Steps 2 Success, our 501(c)(3) partner, provides education, treatment, and scholarships. Rickovery is the patented technology platform that verifies care and supports recovery between sessions.
NexxSteps was founded by Michael Roth, J.D., an Arizona attorney with 30 years in law, public safety, and behavioral health. He holds U.S. Patent 8,760,299 B2 for data chain-of-custody and behavior-analytics technology, founded Safe Harbor LLC (Arizona's ignition-interlock company) in 2000, led the Arizona Ignition Interlock Association for 11 years, and has served as a Pro-Tem Judge and as a Primary Investigator with the CDC and NIH within HHS.
